About ASA of Wisconsin

The American Subcontractors Association of Wisconsin (ASA of Wisconsin) has been advancing the interests of the subcontractor and the construction industry for more than 30 years. We have nearly 75 members, which include subcontractors, material and equipment suppliers and service providers to the construction industry. ASA of Wisconsin members are among the most accomplished subcontractors and specialty trade contractors in the state, working in nearly every trade. ASA of Wisconsin members include specialty contractors of all sizes, with annual sales volume in the state generally ranging from $3 million to $15 million. Each of these valued members enjoy the full range of benefits provided by ASA of Wisconsin, including education, training, networking, business development, and advocacy.

National Strength

ASA of Wisconsin is the state affiliate chapter of the American Subcontractors Association (ASA National), which has more than 50 chapters throughout the United States. This national affiliation provides our members with access to the experience and expertise of more than 3,500 subcontractors and allows them to learn from and network with their peers across the country. In addition, ASA National is very involved in subcontractor advocacy on the federal level, giving Wisconsin subcontractors a powerful voice to effect change within the industry. Best of all - membership in ASA National is included as part of membership in ASA of Wisconsin.

Local Impact

On a state level, ASA of Wisconsin works with industry members and government representatives to advocate for the enhancement and continued success of the Wisconsin subcontractor and construction industries. Through these activities, our members can directly affect the regulatory framework applicable to their businesses. This allows our members to stay abreast of industry topics and business practices – helping to make better, more informed business decisions – decisions that affect the bottom-line. If you are already a member of ASA of Wisconsin and would like to view the extensive offering of advocacy updates and tools available from ASA of Wisconsin, please visit our Advocacy page.

Best Practice Sharing

ASA of Wisconsin is also committed to training and educating our members on hot topics and best practices in order to allow them to grow their business and enhance the quality services they offer. Our monthly programs cover a variety of topics and allow our members to learn more about their industry and share their experiences with other subcontractors and industry professionals. In addition, these programs are a fun and effective way to build relationships within the industry. A complete listing of these programs can be found on our Event Calendar page. We look forward to seeing you at a future event!
