Chapter Vision
ASA of Wisconsin is the united voice and resource for construction subcontractors and suppliers.
Chapter Mission
To promote fair business practices through advocacy and education and by building successful relationships in the construction industry.
Chapter Highlights
ASA of Wisconsin has had many exciting milestones during its history, but here are a few of our accomplishments worth noting:

| July 2006 Geographic jurisdiction expanded to all of Wisconsin | March 2005 Named Merit Chapter in national merit award program |

| June 1998 Led effort to re-establish new payment and performance bond protection for public projects, including provisions for direct payment to subcontractors | April 1997 Dan Biedenbender elected ASA’s national president, first from Wisconsin chapter to hold this office |
| March 1996 Helped restore payment bond protection on public work | March 1993 Received the Leonard A. Weiss Legislative Achievement Award |
| April 1992 Achieved enactment of the Subcontractors Rights Act, which voids “pay-if-paid” clauses, out-of-state venue, and contractual lien and bond waiver provisions | March 1991 Honored as the Outstanding Chapter of the Year nationwide |
| April 1990 Achieved enactment of a strengthened state prompt pay law, whereby subcontractors can receive more timely payment on public projects, including pass through provisions for subcontractors | March 1986 First ASA Chapter chartered in Wisconsin, covering Milwaukee area |
